Welcome the most recent incarnation of the mighty Mark Two!  These are modified versions of the original Sola Sound MkII Professional Tone Bender circuit, adjusted to taste to utilize a hybrid of silicon and germanium transistors (BC107 and AC-176, respectively).  These units are pedalboard friendly in size, use standard 9V power supplies, and feature an on/off LED.  This follows my usual blend of an old-school approach with modern technological equivalents to get the sound right and the job done in an efficient and user-friendly way.

The MKII Professional Tone Bender is one of the most iconic British fuzzes ever produced, notably used by Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Mick Ronson, and a ton more.  It’s saturated, thick, and juicy and just sounds like fuzz heaven.  It’s the sound of the first Led Zeppelin record and one cant really say more than that about how wonderful they sound.
